Remembering the horror of Mumbai Attack November 26th, 2008 First Anniversary of November 26, 2008, Mumbai Attacks 26/11 Remembering our heroes

A proud, but grieving Indian salutes its heroes, grieved for those who lost their lives and remembered what brought us together as Indian.

On November 26th 2008 our live was changed forever. Our nation cried, our beloved Mumbai burned, and many innocent lives were lost. We were hit hard, yet we were not scared, yes we cried, cried for all those lost their lives but each and every tear that came out of our eyes made us stronger and more patriotic.

Though many innocent lives were lost in the events of November 26th, 2008, but their sacrifices has brought us many good things. From the rubbles and the debris of Taj and Oberoi Hotel, from the bloody ceilings and floors of Chhatrapati Shivaji station Mumbai and Nariman House, from bloody walls of Leopold café and Cama hospital, the love for our nation, Indian nationalism, humanity and unity among us has risen. Real Heroes were born to save the life we thought we lost; stories of love, humanity, unity and courage that will last forever.

November 26, 2008, has taught us how to stand as a big wall in the time of crises, how to stand by our nation in the time of sorrow and share the pain of our fellow citizens. Today the phrase “Proud to be an Indian” means more to us now than it has ever.

As I pay tribute to our loved ones, salute to all our Heroes and all who lost their lives in the deadly attack on our beloved Mumbai, I want to say: You are not alone. A proud Indian will never forget “The Mumbai carnage”. We pledge an Allegiance, out loud that “We will not sit quietly, we won’t take it for granted, we will stand up and rise, we will fight back for our nation, this time United we stand together and fight back not for fame but for our freedom and liberty and for what is true and what is Right.

Please show your respect for those who lost their lives on November 26th, 2008 Mumbai Attacks, and to honor the heroes who worked to save them.

On November 26, 2009, No matter, Where you are or What you are doing, Stop for a minute, put your hand on your Heart, close your Eyes and say the Pledge of Allegiance out loud or to yourself and pray a prayer for our beloved nation “India” & for our Fallen Heroes.

Never Surrender! Jai Hind

I Salute to all the brave officers who fought for India’s integrity during some very dark hours.
