Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan appears to be following in the footsteps of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray. What a Shame!

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday (November 6) took a page out of MNS leader Raj Thackeray’s book when he said Biharis and people from Uttar Pradesh are not welcome in the state. Emphasising on the employment of locals he added that companies should employ locals instead of Biharis.
Speaking at a public gathering in Satna, bordering UP, Chauhan said locals should be trained and given preference over people from UP and Bihar in terms of employment. “We create industries in Satna and people from Bihar & UP take up the jobs. This is totally unacceptable. We should train our own youth and give them jobs” he said. He added that not only government, but even private companies should give preference the people of MP over Biharis. Read More
It’s high time to start a proper debate and discussion on this nationalism and regionalism issues. Some political parties and local leaders for their own sake are creating hate among us. First it was MNS and now it’s BJP, singing the same song. Regionalism is the one which is eating up India from inside and will finish it off India one day, if we don’t start discussing the issue in more open way and try to address the issues of locals.
Regionalism is good as long as you are not hurting sentiments of peoples of other states. Local issues do need a proper attention but not at the cost of someone else suffering. National unity is first all other issues, religions, regional are second. We need to think broad and think wisely. Every citizen of this country have an equal right to get the job anywhere in this country, and this is not only saying this has written in constitution. So raising the issues of “No to Bihar or No to UP people” is unconstitutional.
Mr. Chauhan is forgetting that there are a lot hell of people from Madhya Pradesh are also working in UP, Delhi and Haryana. Talking unconstitutional thing and spreading hate among the citizen of this country is a crime and that what Mr. Chauhan is doing at the moment, raising regional issue and spreading hate among us and that also without having any proper debate and knowledge about the sensitive topic and constitution of India show his mental state.
Come on folks we have enough idiots in this beautiful country and we don’t need any more, please stand up and tell these idiots to shut up or we will show them the exit door. We are living in democratic and secular country and it’s our duty to fight against these regionalism ideas and start learning to treat all citizens of this country “Indians”.
