Karachi, 23 Feb. (AKI) – By Syed Saleem Shahzad – Pakistani militants in the country’s northwest are understood to have received 480 million rupees ( 6 million dollars) in compensation after agreeing to a cease conflict with government forces for an indefinite period. Well-placed security sources have told Adnkronos International (AKI) that the militants agreed to lay down their arms and endorse the deal between the government and local leader Sufi Mohammad to impose Sharia law in the region. Recently All the media houses were too busy covering the news that Taliban’s has finally called for indefinite ceasefire in SWAT valley, some writers did pat the back of Pakistan government for their coward initiatives by saying this strategy will work and even some of the USA leader’s did praised that Pakistan government of doing deal with Taliban’s in order to bring peace and prosperity in this trouble region of Pakistan.
But Hey, hold on…I am not going to take all this media spin stories so easily….The fact is this Pakistan has really bought the peace and that also for very short period, reason ASAP the money will finish Taliban’s will strike back again and will haunt the Zardari government. Giving the money to Taliban’s means more terrorist, more arms and more innocents will get killed for no reasons but in the name of religion. What a Deal…ha…!
You just can’t buy peace by money; you need to bring peace and harmony by efforts and understanding of problems. Buying peace is degrading your own self respect and showing your government inability of tackling the important issues. Pakistan government has failed on many issues especially when it comes to tackle their own home grown babies.
Ah yeah I forget to say only yesterday Mr. John Kerry has been asking all over Europe and US to raise fund of $5 billion to save Pakistan going into bankruptcy and becoming a failed nation. Well good USA give money to Pakistan and Pakistan pass it on to Taliban’s and Al-Qaida and Al-Qaida will buy more sophisticated arms and will hit back all the western countries, kill innocents in the name of religion and guess what this cycle will keep going unless someone with a back of steel really stand and make some hard decision in order to deal with Pakistan destroying condition.
Pakistan is in the grip of deadly disease, similar to like cancer and are almost in the second stage, we need some real doctors to treat this country before it goes down.
Ekawaaz Thought: Well I have been hammering across my weblog about Pakistan two faces and her not willing attitude to clamp down all terrorist camps and tackle terrorism in proper way. What Pakistan did in SWAT is total surrender, they did applied the market strategy which says “if you can’t beat them, buy them” but guess they had forget that terrorist don’t work in open economy. They work in closed market with some open market experts like Pakistan!
