LUCKNOW: In an apparent bid to shun his “Hindutva” image, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Kalyan Singh on Wednesday apologized for the Babri Masjid demolition. Kalyan Singh said he has owned “moral responsibility” for the demolition of Babri Masjid in 1992, a statement widely seen as an attempt to assuage Muslim sentiments in the wake of tie up with Samajwadi Party, PTI reported.
“I want to make it clear that I had taken moral responsibility for the demolition of Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992 and had resigned from the post of chief ministership,” he said in a statement that came amidst reports that Mulayam Singh Yadav-led SP had demanded his apology.
My Thoughts: about this Kalyan Singh Drama?
He is not leftist, he is not rightist and he is not even centrist too. All he is: An Opportunistic politician with no ideology and no principles. From Hindutva to Babri Masjid demolition, every thing he did it and he did for Power and Dirty politics.
He is feeling sorry about Babri Masjid Episode because he had no option left, in order to save his political career. He really doesn’t mean it. He said sorry because that the demand of today’s political scenario.
Secondly if he had so much of guilty about one of blackest day in our country history, he should have issued the sorry long time ago.
Why now?
Simple he is in desperate situation to save his tattering political career. He knew it, that only a hand of Mulayam can save his career so he is doing all sort of drama to vow minority voters.

Mr. Kalyan Singh Indian Muslims are not dumb and blind, they can see all your moves. Sorry is not enough, its because of your policies and extremist views so many innocents lost their life in aftermath riots, you had spread hatred among the fellow citizens and in between communities, good you had accepted the truth and facts that its was your’s responsibility to save the Babri Masjid and lives of innocents who were brutally killed in riots but you have not right to ask for forgiveness. You had accepted your faults now we the public of this republic will decide you fate.
For me Sorry and Thank you are a big word, only say when you really mean it. And this time you honestly doesn’t mean it and we know it. So there is no forgiveness for you from my side.
