I think the greatest of our achievements of country is that we have destroyed the very pure meaning of Democracy by letting these sorts of unions to hold the whole country to ransom. It is so wrong and unethical way of Unions to show their anger and demands. You cannot hold the country to ransom. Strike is not the only solution; there are many alternatives to air grievances. Unions’ leaders should understand that they have to be rational and must understand that strike may not solve the core issue but it will create more chaos. They must respect and protect true spirit of Indian democracy by using it in ethical way to express their grievances.
