Son-Rise in Jammu and Kashmir State: Omar Abdullah sworn in as Jammu And Kashmir Chief Minister

Son-Rise in Jammu and Kashmir: National Conference President and third generation Abdullah scion Omar Abdullah was sworn in as Chief Minister of a National Conference-Congress coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir. The 38 year old Omar will be the 11 and youngest Chief Minister of Jammu And Kashmir State.  Senior Congress leader of Jammu and Kashmir and Former speaker of state assembly Tara Chand would be the new deputy chief minister.  8 member cabinet  also sworn in with Chief Minister Omar and Dy Chief Minister Tara change.

Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Nawang Rigzin Jora and Sham Lal Sharma are congressman while Abdul Rahim Rather, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Mian Altaf and Surjit Singh Slathia belong to National Conference.

The youngest chief minister of this troubled state is very down to earth guy with a very clean public image. Let’s just hope he will be able to deliver this time and bring a much needed peace and prosperity in this beautiful region of India. Good Luck Mr. Omar Abdullah, Hope you will not let me down.
